Chapter 1: Let the Games Begin!
New beginnings are what I always yearn for, what a person always yearns for. But when we have a chance at having that new beginning, we refuse it, always preferring that old life we have, and then go back to wishing for that new beginning that passed by. It’s an age-old cycle that man never seemed to get out of, except maybe for a few people who takes every opportunity to start anew with their life. Like my Father, he took the opportunity, bringing us along with him.
I entered this school spring. I met the perfect guy at spring. I’m roomed with a perfect guy in spring, the season for new beginnings. His name is Kato Shigeaki and he’s a prince. Not just prince-looking but a real prince. With us in the room is his cousin, Tegoshi Yuya, also a prince, but I think he’s a princess. The dude looks like a girl! Kato is the heir to the throne, Tegoshi is not an heir but he and Kato are close.
One more thing, there are cliques in this school and they all seemed hesitant to let me in. I’m Osakan, they’re all Tokyo kids. Of course they’ll hesitate! I’m an outcast. It’s a good thing I am now friends with Kato-san and Tegoshi-san. They are the only people who will talk to me right now. Wait, someone’s approaching me right now.
“Hi! I’m Yamashita Tomohisa! Nice to meet you! I wanted to approach you when classes started but you looked scary.” He stuck out his hand and I hesitantly shook it.
“Nishikido Ryo. Are you sure you’re not forced to make friends with me?” I asked him wearily.
“Of course not! You look cool in your Osaka fashion and your Kansai-ben.” He told me. I’m amazed. He thinks I’m cool!
“Come on, I’ll introduce you to everyone.” He pulled me to the dining area and put me in a seat surrounded by others.
I will introduce you now!” He pointed to a fat-ish guy. “That’s Akanishi Jin. He’s my bestfriend!”
He pointed to the skinny guy cuddling with Akanishi. “That’s Kamenashi Kazuya. He’s Jin’s boyfriend.”
He then pointed to a blonde guy furiously pushing buttons in his Nintendo DS. “That’s
Taguchi Junnosuke. He loves his games.” Taguchi suddenly paused his game and smiled very brightly at me.
Yamashita then pointed to an ordinary-looking guy with a big nose. “That’s Nakamaru Yuichi. He’s a great at beat-boxing.”
He then pointed to a bald guy with too much accessories on. “That’s Tanaka Koki. He’s a rapper.”
“And for the last of KAT-TUN,” He pointed to a girly-looking guy. “That’s Ueda Tatsuya. He said he can see fairies.” Ueda merely nodded.
“And now for NEWS.” He pointed at a foxy-haired guy. “That’s Koyama Keiichiro. He’s the mother of the group.” Koyama smiled really brightly at me.
He pointed at a guy with colorful clothes and who is eating. “That’s Masuda Takahisa. He’s very kind. You can approach him for anything.”
Then I saw 2 familiar people next to Masuda.
“Kato-san? Tegoshi-san?” I asked.
“Ah. Our resident princes. You’re rooming with them, right?” Yamashita asked.
I nod and mumble a greeting to everyone. Suddenly, Ueda laughed.
“He speaks Kansai-ben! He shouldn’t be here!” he pointed at me accusingly, like I did a crime.
“Shove it, princess. I didn’t do anything to you.” I told him, glaring.
“Just your mere presence irritates me.” He said to me, almost growling.
“What is it that he has done to you, Ueda-san? As he said, shove it, if you have nothing to say but foul things.” Everyone was surprised by who said this, the prince himself, Kato Shigeaki.
“Kato-san. I’m sorry.” Ueda bows at Kato. It seems that Ueda is afraid of the prince. He stopped talking but is still glaring at me. Stupid Fairy Princess!
