Oh my... I have all sorts of naughty "9 and 1/2 weeks" like imagines in my mind now. Wow that was hot, although they didn't get to the 'main course' in your fic and it's left to imagination, but that kiss alone made me go 'hrrrrrrrrrrr'.

Just one small thing:
he asked, and Nyota noted with some amusement that his voice had dropped several octaves.
I just literally tried this. Going from my normal speaking voice to a 'bed voice' is at max. one octave. An average singer has around 3.5 to 4 octaves.
How about "dropped what seemed like at least an octave" or simply "dropped an octave".

And about the chocolate: Now I'm not completely sure if this is more of a fandom thing than actually true, but Vulcans are said to get inebriated by chocolate. Was this intentional then (his behavior afterwards *could* but doesn't have to be explained by this)?

Ah found this on wikipedia:
In "non-canon" Trek-related literature, such as the novelization of Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home, Vulcans are depicted as immune to the effects of ( ... )

I can't believe I actually did it! Thanks for everything.

I agree with both your suggestions. I already changed the octave thing (I like the new line better...so thanks!) and will work on the second change today and hopefully get it updated by this evening. The first version of this story didn't have the cheesecakes being made of chocolate, and then when I changed it, it just didn't dawn on my that everyone wouldn't know that Vulcans and chocolate don't mix. :) That was a valuable lesson for future fics.

But you know, you could even keep it in. A) it's probably not much chocolate and B) nobody knows exactly which effects chocolate has on Vulcans, how strong they are. So it could be just something to add to him letting go of his restraint and making him hornier ;-) Maybe, taking the DS9 interpretation into consideration, it has an inebriating effect plus that of an aphrodisiac.

So I guess both would work really.

I'll write something and see how it fits. If it doesn't, I'll leave it as is.

As for the Spock thing, my Spock is an amalgam of all of the different fic that I've read, but mostly movie Spock. I think that he'd be very tender with Nyota in private, but still stay "himself." I would never have him act like this in public, but behind closed doors...oh yeah...he'll always show Nyota that's she's cherished. As for the Spock in your current story, I'd expect that he act less emotional because he and Nyota aren't really together like that yet. In your other fics, Spock didn't seem "anti-emotions" to me, so you're doing something right! Now if I could only write some smut... *blushes furiously*
