Today I'm going to show you how to go from

made in PS CS2, selective colouring, curves, non-transferable



Step one:

Duplicate your base and set it to soft light @ 100% and merge your layers.

Step two:

Duplicate your new base and set it to screen @ 53%

Step three:

Make a colour balance layer and use these settings:

Midtones: +18, 0, 0
Highlights: -12, 0, +13
Shadows: +2, 0, -2

Step four:

Make a Hue/Saturation layer and set the saturation to +24

Step five:

Make a Brightness/Contrast layer and use these settings:

Brightness: -13
Contrast: -4

Step six:

Make a curves layer and use these settings:

RGB: I: 92 O: 107
Blue: I: 161 O:114

Step seven:

Make another curves layer and use these settings:

RGB: I: 60 O: 47

Step eight:

Make a selective colour layer and use these settings:

Yellow: 0, 0, -27, 0

Step nine:

Make another colour balance layer and use these settings:

Midtones: +16, 0, +13
Highlights: +7, 0, +21
Shadows: -4, 0, +3

And thats it!! Now not every picture will end up the same! You have to play with the settings sometimes.
