This is really cute. I love that first super-neurotic text. So perfect when you consider where Annie was in the first episode and how far she's come. Great job :)

Thank you! My biggest struggle was keeping Annie in character at that particular moment. She's matured and changed so much--and this fic spans 6 years! My biggest worry about posting this was that people wouldn't think Annie was in character in each of the "times" so your lovely comment has really reassured me. Thank you so much!

Thank you so much! I struggled with making sure Annie was in character at each point in time since she has changed so much and making her progression as a person and in her relationship with Jeff feel fluid and believable. Her conversation with Britta is one of my favorites, too! I love them being friends who are just there for each other, no boy drama or anything else getting in the way. And the surprise Troy at the end was my self-indulgent moment because I <3 Britta/Troy :D

Thank you! Yeah, it was fun brainstorming for reasons why Annie wouldn't text Jeff even though she might have wanted to, or, definitely DIDN'T want to given the circumstance. I don't have anything in the pipeline, but I thought I'd peruse the Ficcy Sunday prompts and see if anything sounds interesting. Thanks again for reading and reviewing :)

Thank you so much; I'm glad you enjoyed it! I really love Annie/Britta friendship, so their story was the most fun to write. And I'm really hoping for some great story lines involving just the girls this season. I ship Britta/Troy in addition to Jeff/Annie (although J/A is my OTP) so I just had to sneak it in that they were secretly together. I couldn't resist ;)

I loved the Britta/Annie story, both in character, funny and cute ! ... You really stayed true to Annie all along, I like that she keeps her Disney face as a weapon after all this time :)

Thank you! I'm so glad you liked the story. This was a difficult one to write because I had to keep Annie in character at that specific moment and she has changed so much since season one. But that was the fun challenge of this story. :)
