This is so beautiful! I just love your style of writing, and the stream-of-consciousness-thing totally works for me, and totally works for the way you're writing. It's like a lovesong, all those little bits and pieces assembled only to lead to that declaration of love that kinda isn't eve one but says so much about the two of them. And I love the bit about Alex almost drowning himself *again*, that is just so him XD
