After being linked (by miranda_skye) to this article by Ed Gorman (it's brilliant and angsty :P) and after the general angst I've been feeling about this, here is a randomly assorted Luca 'mix. You are so evil. Thank yoou for making me cry. This 'Rob Dougan - I'm not driving anymore' is so Nels to me (though it of course also fits Luca). But omg. This is so sad and angry and dark. *angst, I has it*

The part about him in that article is all sorts of sadness-inducing.
Glad it's not a BAD thing, though ;)

The situation was just very BAD for him. Everyone had gotten hyper over Michael making a comeback...I suppose that's why the press exceeded themselves in viciousness. Once again, everything was a bit against him. I guess F1 sometimes chooses who to show kindness or cruelty to or something along those lines.

I'm very happy you liked the fanmix and the photos. And that it made you give him a second thought, which was what I intended :D

Also, your Ayrton icon is heart-breaking.

Oh, I know, I've supported Michael for years and years, I would have loved seeing him back (even though he most likely would have been a bit rusty, at least in Valencia). I've also liked Luca for years now, but I was thrilled when I first heard Michael was going to replace Felipe.
Even though I miss Felipe terribly, all this being said. And I have mixed feelings about Giancarlo. After Michael, I became a Felipe fangirl and there only so many people I want to see in his seat :P
but yes, you're right, I suppose it being Ferrari means that they just can't accept a car being so off-pace. Still, it was vicious. I'm a Ferrari girl (most of the time), and really, it was uncalled for. Criticise him, yes, but bash him 24/7) Hell no. But now all that is over.

Very true, every photo/icon/vid of Ayrton is heart-breaking but that particular one is even more so...between the text and the pics used...*sigh*
