Okay people, I need a little help. For this fanfiction bachelor I am writing I am going to explain several terms used within fanfic. I realised that there are rather many terms, and so I need your help remembering and figuring them all out. Here is a list of what I am planning so far:

Fandom
Pairing
Slash
Femmeslash
Mpreg
RPF(Real people fic)
genres
Chan

Dunno if it's still being used, but lemon. Also, yaoi/yuri tend to replace slash/femslash in more japanese video game/manga/anime fandoms.
Then there's OTP (one true pairing), and OT3 (one true treesome, and hell, as far as I'm aware, you can go up to OT*insert number here* )
And don't forget the crackfic!

Oh? I've seen a few OT4 and OT5 around, but then I come from fandoms with many characters, so...

But how does that work, does it mean that there are 4 or 5 people the author always writes about, or that there are 4 or 5 people in a relationship at once... because that sounds a bit... I don't know... Hazardous?

RPS (Real person slash) is another term for RPF.
You have Seme & Uke = Top and Bottom respectively.
You have terms for genres like Alternate Universe- AU, and PWP (porn wihout plot/plot? what plot?) which you probably know.
terms for 'warnings' such as BDSM, beastiality, furries, etc.
hum, what else, 'Mary Sue's, in another term: WIP (work in progress), one-shot. lol, it goes one.
Perhaps look into wikipedia or this site: http://www.angelfire.com/falcon/moonbeam/terms.html

Good luck ^^
