LOL! OK, that was fun. :D I can definitely imagine Bob getting all snarky about HP while actually being addicted to the books. [snicker]

Hooray for wizards named Harry! *cheers* The idea of Bob (stern, powerful, not-a-villain-at-the-moment Bob) being more eager than Dresden to find out what happens in THE book is just wonderful. I would love to see Bob and Snape exchange snark, and the idea of JKR getting on Ancient Mai's nerves is priceless. A very amusing treatment of what's likely to be the fandom event of the decade. Nicely done!

(One technical note: 'he said with distain' should be 'disdain'. But that's just a nitpick. XD)

Hahahaha! That is great. Harry and Bob getting all jumpy about when they can get the next book.

I can just see Bob glaring down every little kid who looks in the window, images of Snape dancing through their young minds. *snickers* I'm so going to be looking for Dresden at midnight when I go to pick up my book.

I love the 'THE book' line. Fabulous.

I love the juxtaposition of the child holding the wand correctly and the fact that the wand has, of all things, Hello Kitty! stickers on it. I wouldn't have thought of comparing Bob to Lupin, but Harry nailed it with the "cursed but basically one of the good guys" line. As for Snape...oh, Bob could SO outsnark Snape. (I'll bet Bob's a better potions teacher, too. For all his snark, he has more patience, and actually likes teaching.)

And oh, I adore the idea that JKR is driving the High Council crazy. (Hey, Harry shouldn't be the only one.)
