He's so cute when he naps, Skywarp thought. I could watch him for hours.
It wasn't often that he got to see his Thundercracker in rest-and-recharge mode - normally, it would be the blue Seeker who would stay awake longer, and watch over him as he rested. Maybe it was because Thundercracker felt responsible for him. Maybe it was because his ever-active mind didn't allow him to rest. Or maybe it just took more to tire him out than it did for Skywarp.
But this time, it was Thundercracker who was out like a light, sprawled on his berth with an arm flung over his offlined optics. No doubt, he had run himself ragged. Skywarp would feel for him, except - it was so much fun to watch him like this, lying there as a thrown-there arrangement of blue and grey planes and haphazard shadows, like his very own piece of sky.
