Author's note: This take place the 2 May in London when there is the film premier of Kingdom Of Heaven. I know that some of you actually where in London at the premier of Koh, so I just want to tell you that I’m sorry if I moved around some of the happenings. Though it is just fiction and I want to believe that you can see through the fingers of that.

It was thousands of people waiting and he knew that most of them were there to at least get a glimpse of him. He knew very well that he wouldn’t be able to make everyone happy, just those that been lucky to get good places along the barricades. He was sad over the fact that he couldn’t be able to give a little moment to them all, it was impossible because of the interviews and the little time he actually had.

Seeing all fans overwhelmed him and he was amazed that so many actually came there to show him their support for him. He knew he would try to make as many as possible happy.

His first stop was to attend to MTV’s TRL. It was located near by and he would pass some of those that waited in front of the theater. Later he also learned he would see them from the window. The second he got out from the car the crowd started to scream and he could hear his name be chanted; “Orlando, Orlando, Orlando….”

Politely he stopped for a moment and waved and also promised he would sign autographs when he came back out. It was just before he was about to enter the building he saw a woman there in the crowd that woke his curiosity. It wasn’t much he saw of her, and it wasn’t only because she was some rows from him, she stood out from most of the crowed when she wore a ‘hijab’ (veil). Because of that had made him linger longer to her and then their eyes had met, and his heart had jumped over a few beats.

All he could see of her were her eyes and those were some of the most beautiful he had ever seen. Her eyebrows and eyelashes looked black, and framed two large and luminous brown orbs. The sunbeams made them to shine as amber. He was lost and he knew that he wanted to know more about her.

Inside the door, away from the crowed and deafening shouts he turned to Robin and his guard.

“Could you please fix it so that the girl in the veil is able to get into the film and party? I would like that very much.”

“We shall see if there is any possibility.”

Satisfied with the answer he continued in, and he was sure they would be able to do it. For some time he tried to concentrate on his task, though he had hard to not see the brown eyes in front of him. Seeing that the studio was hold with the large wall of windows against the square made his heart beat faster.

Walking near the wall he looked out and tried to see her. He thought he could hear the crowed get a new air of screaming, so he waved to them. In his corner he did see the dark purple veil, but despondently she didn’t look up.

The appearance went well. Before leaving he looked out, and he couldn’t spot the purple head, so hopefully they had get a hold of her. Again he felt only the thought increased his heart beat.

Down in the lobby his staff met him. They pushed him in an adjacent room where he was allowed to change cloths.

“Did you get the veiled girl to come?”

“Yes, you will meet her shortly. She and her friend are waiting outside. You got a few minutes before we have to rush to the dinner and then you will meet her again before the film when you been out on the red carpet.”

“Thanks.”

Orlando was nervous, but hoped that wasn’t so obvious as it would be showed. He didn’t understand why a meeting with a girl could bring butterflies to his stomach. He should be used to meeting new girls by now, after that a lot of fans approach him almost every time he was out. He drew the comb a few extra times through the hair, but ended to try to get it lying tidy with his hands.

Walking through the door he was relived that it wasn’t walls of glass. He didn’t want to have the crowd as audience when he would make acquaintance with the woman. The girl in question was standing on the other side of the room and he could take her and her friend in for a moment.

They seemed to be of average height. The friend had brown hair cut just above her shoulders and seemed to have a lighter skin. She was wearing jeans, dark shirt and a black jacket. Though it wasn’t her he tried to collect in his memory. It was the girl he had asked for. Seeing her out of the crowd he could see that devoid of the veil and was wearing a black and purple dress under a coat. It was of full length and she had pretty shoes.

He couldn’t wait any longer and walked forward and greeted them. They seemed shy and he could tell they were nervous too, by the short answers he got. It was easier to see what feelings that went through the friend when she didn’t hide her face. Though only see the eyes were enough to seem to drown in her deepest.

The few minutes went by to fast and he cheered inwardly knowing he would see her again. He took care to he could follow them out. He walked as close he could without being too obvious of what his intentions might be. He almost forgot what he had promised earlier, but was reminded of the screaming fans.

He leaned into the veiled girl and whispered into her ear that he looked forward to talk more to her later. She slightly nodded and was on her way from him. Looking up to see the fans he thought he saw some jealousy from them that someone had the luck to receive some closeness from him.

For some time he stopped and wrote a few autographs. During the dinner he had hard to concentrate and he could see her eyes even more. Back to Leicester Square he did sign a lot more autographs, greeted friends as Billy Boyd and Sean Austin, and family. It was easy to pose for the photographs and the fans with a smile. He did know that he soon would get some more time with the mysterious girl. He even comply some of the girls request and gave them hugs and a few kisses. Some how he found himself in a very good mood and he believed that the evening would be great.

One thing that made him feel less happy was that he wouldn’t be able to sit beside the girl. Before the showing of the film started he had get another few minutes with her. This time he had remembered to ask for her name. Her name was Maryram and he thought it was a beautiful one.

Sitting there in the theatre gave him some private time to think, when everyone was concentrating on what took place in front of their eyes. Even better was it that most seem to get lost in the plot. There were a lot of thoughts that swirled around in his head, a lot of them around her. It was some time a girl really had taken him as she did after so short of time.

At the after party he felt slight torn in halves. He had to show interest among the guest, it was a long time since he been together with Billy and Sean and then he wanted to only spent time with Maryram. In the end she won and he hoped his friend wouldn’t be too upset over it.

He had loved to bring one glass of champagne with him to her, but wasn’t sure how she would take it without him asking first. So he fixed it so that they could be seated in a secluded corner. To his luck she didn’t denied anything to drink or the snacks that was offered around.

It was easy to talk and she seemed to be very intelligent and a nice person. Orlando felt relaxed and the nervousness did disappear from him. After some time he asked her if she could think to get away from the place and take a walk in Hyde Park. To his joy she agreed and not long after they had sneaked away from the party.

It was a mesmerizing night with a sky filled with stars and the moon. When Orlando took hold of Maryram’s hand she had let him, so they walked there hand in hand talking about what seemed everything. They reached the Serpentine, walked after the score to end up to be seated and watching the night.

Through the hand holding Orlando had felt she emanate a lot of warmth and something else that made him really wanted to kiss her and hold her. Even how much he wanted to do it he didn’t want to scare her or step over any boundaries. He was so happy that they could sneak away without any other people, though he was little curious why she hadn’t any ‘apron’ with her. Of course he was pleased that she must trust him to not do anything appropriate.

They even fell silence for a longer time and just enjoyed the moment.

Sadly the evening seemed to come to an end and Orlando couldn’t hold his feeling any longer. He collected both her hands in his and kissed them. He told her that he so much wanted to meet her again, take her to dinner and several more nice nightly walks.

Maryram said she was honored by him and would very much to meet him again. His heart did sing upon hearing her words.

Looking deep into her eyes he said; “Of my gratitude of this wonderful evening together with you I would most likely wanted to show that to give you a kiss on your cheek. Would you grant the wish for me?”

“Maybe I will, maybe I won’t… one day.”
