Two months ago I promised a report on Krisha Dalke as Alfred. So far I didn’t even start writing the thing, but since I always like to keep my promises, I’ll try to do my best. Thanks for this report! It sounds a lot like the impression I have of him in general... unfortunately. And I wonder how you can play a role for three years without wanting to dig out more out of it than that. I always wonder if the people who think Krisha is the best Alfred ever just haven't seen anyone else, at least not seen anyone else on a good day. Or he was their first Alfred, and some people always measure everything else on their first, and think it has to be the same and don't like people doing something different even if they're better. I've never been able to fathom it, but I see a lot of people in the musical fandoms who are like this ( ... )

I have to agree, although I didn't see a lot of him... and that says a lot. I've learned to pay attentions to Alfreds, but he just couldn't keep my attention, I was always looking at other things.
He was my first Alfred, but that didn't leave a longlasting impression.

First Alfreds do leave a life-time impression, but I have to admit that my first TWO Alfreds succeeded in being forgotten...I only know that I liked Riccardo more than Krisha...but after seeing so much other material and so much other Alfreds...I don't even know anymore how Riccardo actually played the part...

And I forgot to say... If Perman had a much more complicated interpretation than Krisha, then Krisha must have been really flat!

He was...Lukas had two three things I liked...Krisha just one... ;-)
(I'll reply to the longer reply later, but I'm ill at the moment, so I don't have the energy to write down much intelligent things...But I'm so glad I'm able to sit up, so I thought the internet would be ok ;-))

Now, seriously, Krisha, you need to shape up! You can't have even less likeable things than Perman!

Krisha was boring in my opinion...Lukas had some nice things (being sad after being rejected in the bathroom, needing time to recover during tanzsaal...) Krisha was just funny in the gruft...all the other scenes he was boring...not bad, just boring...
