It's been just a little over a month since I handed Wayworn over to my beta readers.  (I've heard back from about half already--you guys are FAST!--and have gotten some fantastic crits.  Thanks, you guys!!!)  It's also been just a little over a month since I last wrote.  That's a long time for me to go without writing.  After first I was too busy ( Read more... )

I'm sure by September which novel to go with will be clear.

I'm glad you're excited about revisions. I agree with you --Wayworn is in great shape. As I was reading it I had the same thought--this will only need one more main revision. :-)

I'm glad you agree. Though I figured you would. :)

Worst case, if I still can't decide, I can always try writing them both and see which one progresses the most and then go with that one.

It feels great to finally have the house in good shape. And I'm definitely getting antsy to start writing again.

Having a well-ordered house is definitely a good reason to avoid blogging :) I listed my pathetic reason for not having read Wayworn yet elsewhere, so I shan't repeat it here.

It's wonderful to finally look at the house and not feel guilty because it's a disaster.

It must be so exciting to have a finished manuscript.
And now you have so much to catch up to, hehe =)

It feels weird, actually. I've been working on Wayworn for five years. And to think I'm only one revision away from calling it truly done and moving on is odd. Even with my excitement to start something new, I'm not sure I know how to work on something that isn't Wayworn.

Well, it's always good to see you here! I took a break recently - it was meant to be for a month but I lasted a week. That's pretty good for me... ;)

But it's great to see you achieved so much of the Real Life stuff, and I love hearing how inspired you are to get into revisions & start a new project. Yay!

Thanks! It's hard to stay away for long, isn't it?
