It was an overcast sort of day which suited Flick just fine. He opened up the store, making sure to actually do some work to earn his pay before he settled in behind the counter. Everything seemed to be decorated with rainbows and Flick wasn't about to change that. It was pretty nice.

Last night's date had been much needed. Flick came into the store today feeling well rested and relaxed despite everything on his mind. He spent awhile putting candy out to show a full stock before he sat down behind the counter.

He took out his phone and checked his message before moving onto a book. Very productive.

Much like the last time this event had taken place, it would appear to anyone who came to the community center tonight that whoever had been responsible for decorating for the reunion mixer actually had some taste. The weather was still a little cloudy in the evening, but it was warm enough that hopefully people would still feel like partying. There was certainly enough food for a party, along with cool drinks and equipment for beach games like beach volleyball. Or beach dodgeball.
