It was the most beautiful day. Everything was so shiny and wonderful. Elle nearly ran home from Empire records after Lucas had asked her for a date. Nails could wait. If she was going to the beach, she needed some sun.

Slipping on her bikini and grabbing a blanket, she went across the street to the park and stretched out in the sun with Bruiser curled at her feet.
