Jaime snorted. "Like you weren't going to anyway?"

He spotted that. It made him smile slightly and lean in to speak quietly to Del. "You're not going to get super-duper cranky like she would, are you?"

Del shook her head. Her sugar wasn't that low; she just wanted more than one.

(And she didn't like Chichiue treating this other Momo so special.)

The crayon stopped moving for a moment as a thought occurred to her... her head still bent, she looked up at him through her eyelashes.

He cocked his head and looked down at her.

"Hmm?"

"May I..." Her crayon twirled a circle. "Sit with you?"

Jaime smiled and slid over to make room. "Sure thing."

Momoko tried to keep her face still as she watched the little girl slowly and deliberately climb down from her seat and carefully avoid Momoko to get to the seat.

Of course that meant that Momoko had to sit next to... "I guess that means we get to be seat buddies. Right, Alex?" She smiled at him gently.

"Yeah." He didn't, quite, sigh about it.

At least he didn't move to take up the whole seat by himself?

She sat down and started handing out the drinks, ignoring how Del was smiling as she leaned against Jaime and coloured. "Did you want nuggets too? You look like a BigMoo guy to me."
