It was possible that the strange creatures that had invaded Fandom last week were still on everyone's mind when the Student Council had designed the decorations for Prom. Glittery cardboard animal-hybrid monsters awaited everyone as they arrived to the community center, and made their way inside along a blue and yellow carpet flanked by glowing,

Hey, it wasn't like Kanan had anything better to do on a Friday night. Besides, he got to bring a date? This clearly meant he had to haul Hera along to take in all the... wonder... and...

The glitter. He was dragging her along to take in the glitter. There were just some Fandom experiences that were important, okay?

Besides that, though, he was mostly just turning a strategic blind eye to the punch bowl. Wasn't like he was going to complain if it wound up spiked, here.

Hera...was not too sure about the glitter. She currently had it all over her dress and was vainly trying to keep most of it off her hands and lekku.

"Yep," Kanan agreed, "apparently. And it isn't even the only dance they have each year. There's this thing called Valentine's, and Homecoming... I'm sure they come up with other reasons to roll in glitter and listen to loud music, too, but I'm not familiar with them yet."

He smirked her way. Damn, she wore that dress well.

"How are you holding up, there?"

"Good evening, everyone," Zoe said as she came up to the microphone. "I hope you've all been having a good time tonight. It's my pleasure to announce this year's Prom Court. For the juniors, your queen is Ahsoka Tano, and your kings, in a tie, are Dante and Hyacinthe. And our 2017 Prom King and Queen are Anders and Ada Miller. Congratulations to all of you."

Ada had started clapping and cheering loudly once Dante and Hyacinthe had been announced, and just gotten louder when Anders name had been called because aw, the boys were Prom Royalty Roommates and that was cute!

It took her a moment to realize Ms. Winchester had called her name, and Ada blinked in surprise.

"Wait... what?"

Not being able to stand up is not a dealbreaker for me. It mostly just makes me want to get all of the REST of the set so that I can stack them properly. Poor ladle. Needs a tea infuser friend to help it keep balance.
