Steve, clad in a Hulk t-shirt and a pair of sweatpants that were far too big on him, sighed as his hair fell across his eyes again. "Could I have a black coffee, please?" he asked politely.

"...Steve?" There were really only so many people who could own that shirt. "Or Barton maybe?"

Steve gave a sheepish wave. "Hi. This wasn't exactly what I thought today would be."

"You're telling me," Tony muttered into his coffee. "You're shorter."

And very pretty, but that was a given.

Okay, so technically speaking, Peter didn't need coffee.

That wasn't going to stop him going for it today, even if any effect was purely psychological. Warm drinks were soothing.

He nodded at Tony, wondering if the lady was anyone he knew as a man or just someone he hadn't met before. "Morning."

"Morning," Tony replied, wondering basically the very same. "Interesting weekend?"

Peter chuckled. "You could say that." He concentrated and shifted back to his usual self for a moment. "This is usually me."

But as soon as he stopped intentionally holding it, he was female again.

Tony raised an eyebrow at that. "I usually have much more of a goatee, myself."
