This Friday saw Dante up front with the acoustic guitar again, still puzzling about the Kathy and the Raven things. So he was picking his way through the bassline of an Iggy Pop song. And the guitar line of another oneThen he tried figuring out how to make Combichrist sound good on acoustic. It wasn't entirely working

Raven poked her head in some time in the afternoon. "You're not Jono," she observed. "I guess I should have guessed from the lack of grunge."

"Yeah, sorry, I try not to play shit that went out with Kurt Cobain!" Dante said easily, but when he looked up from his guitar, there was a curiosity in his eyes. "Hey, Raven."

"Hey Dante." Raven nodded to the guitar. "I didn't know you played."

"Picked it up over the summer," Dante said, shrugging a shoulder. "I'm just messing around with it."

In fact, he was setting it down on the ground now. "Starsmore's not in today," he said. "Is it important?"
