Because two weeks ago hadn't been confusing enough, last weekend had hit Dante with another whopper that made his last conversation with Alluka already feel hopelessly out of date.

So he showed up to her workplace. It made sense.

He'd even brought a strawberry cake. (Saving his money was still not really something that came natural, here.) "Alluka, hey."

She was never going to argue about cake. And saving money was still a hard concept for her to grasp anyway.
