Jono had been so caught up in the (constant, somewhat maddening) presence of Nanika on the island, he'd almost forgotten what day of the week it was. Still, a few hours into Raven's shift, he remembered, and decided to pay her a visit to see how she was faring.

Not just to get some distance between himself and Nanika, no, though a slightly bloodied tissue that he was holding to his nose was testimony to how important it was that he did, all the same. He really wasn't going to be able to take much more of this. Not without some distance from time to time, anyway.

//Afternoon, luv,// he greeted as the door closed behind him. //Hope your first day's been going smoothly enough?//

//I wish,// Jono muttered, shaking his head. //Dealing with a bit of telepathic overload, is all. I'll be fine.//

Mostly because little things like 'having a body' were optional for him. He wasn't liable to actually get any better while Nanika was out, either.

//Find anything interesting up there?//

"Oh. I'd offer some of the things that helped Charles out with stuff like that but -- honestly I didn't pay that much attention to them." Sorry Jono. And off in the distance somewhere, sorry Charles. She hadn't been the best sister. "Just dust, really. Full of tiny little claw marks. Might be where the squirrels hide sometimes when they're spying on you."
