It had been an elephant plushie sort of day, so that was who was with her once Alluka had gone to class, like she was supposed to, and then headed to work, like she was supposed to.

So sue him, Sparkle was kind of curious to see if Alluka had found the postcard he'd left for her, yet. Which was why he was coming in to the shop today, mostly under the guise of having forgotten some of his notes about his class behind the counter today.

... Okay, that, and he'd actually forgotten some of his notes about his class behind the counter. He was still twitchy, worrying about the way this semester was going to go.

"Hey hey! How's my favourite Alluka doing today?"

She'd found the postcard! Only after she'd had tea and set up the shop properly, but she'd found it! It was sitting with her elephant, as Alluka tried on hats for her toy and the card's inspection.

Fancy hats. She liked the one she had on as Sparkle came in. It was big, but the white and pink looked really nice with her hair.

"Hi, hi!" she said happily. "Are, are we allowed to get rid of some hats, Sparkle?"

Because, in a pile by the desk were some truly awful ones. Like this one and this one. Alluka was fond of colours and fun but they were... terrible.

"Are we allowed to--" Sparkle spotted the hats as he rounded the counter to go foraging for his papers. "Whoa. Is one of our suppliers going crazy again? What in the world is up with those?"
