"That's a pretty good way of looking at it," Ringo agreed with a beaming smile.
"So for you to do that, you have to really understand your body. You basically use some special equipment to sort of read the, I guess you can think of it as "rhythm", of your body. The way it moves and stuff like that, and you use that information to adjust your ATs."
"It's actually best if you have someone else help you since it's actually really hard to do from inside your own body. Like, it's hard to see how your body works because you're so used to it, you know?"
"I guess so," she said slowly, though it was all pretty confusing to her. "It's like... like testing your balance, only instead of falling off a balance beam, someone else watches and let's you know when you're about to fall?"
"I think," Ringo said after a moment, "that maybe it's more like someone telling you if you lean a little forward or a little backward or just stand straight when you're just standing around. Every person is a little different, and because you're so used to it, you don't think about that kind of stuff."
