If there were visitors that he actually knew, all the better. He'd been around long enough that there were liable to be a few.
He wasn't going to think about the odds that some of those visitors might have once been his students, too. That route was the route to madness.

But he had to walk through the park to get to work anyhow, and the smell of bacon had amazing powers of distraction. He piled a plate with meats, cheeses and pastries and sat down to properly appreciate it all.
