Negasonic wasn't one for dances or socializing. However since she was on student council she felt obligated to show up. She even found a dress in her favorite color. Of course once she put it on it made her feel self-conscious so she was no doubt going to be tugging on it all night.

"Oooh, I love your dress!" An upbeat smiling girl was probably exactly what Negasonic was looking for at this particular dance.

"Thanks," she muttered, too self-conscious to worry about cheerful people. "Just wish it covered more."

Commemorate the end of the world in glittery wonder! If anyone wanted to accessorize to fit the theme, there were varies bits of leather to borrow. Maybe you wanted a leather jacket (or just a vest) to go with the theme. Or maybe you wanted an eyepatch to finish your outfit off. (and protect at least one eye from the glitter!)

Yes, all of the leather also had rhinestones. Come on.

Momoko eyed the leather options, fingering a very pretty leather choker. "I wonder if Jaime would wear a holster..."

Drinks (and Food) - Homecoming 2016 halfaclink October 22 2016, 11:22:53 UTC
Frank was in charge of drinks, so there was a wide selection of options. Most of them weren't spiked, because that would imply that there was something besides alcohol in them. But for anyone who just wanted punch, there was a bowl of that, too, right next to the cocktail station.

There was also some food options which were outside of Frank's scope of work, except as garnishes.

"Frank should plan all of our dances," Dante decided, as he poured a lot of Frank's-brand-of-unspiked something in his glass.

Fall into the ring of LED fire and party like it's 1999, back when we all thought the world might end at 2000. Because Post-Glitterocalypse!

If you wanted to find Ada tonight, this was probably your best option. She was perfectly happy to dance the end of the world -- and all her troubles -- away in the Glitterocalypse!

The dance floor was where Ringo went as soon as she arrived, too. Once she spotted Ada, she grinned and made sure she slowly drifted that way. "I love your dress!" she called over the music.

No one who knew Ringo would be surprised to find her out on the dance floor. Someone loved to move. And she had a bright new blue dress to do that dancing in.

Which seems even darker than normal, but that's just because there's barely any glitter over here to reflect the light.

Negasonic was immediately drawn over to the shadowy corner due to the lack of glitter, stopping only to grab a cocktail. From here she could safely drink, observe and mock as needed.

Shiemi found the shadowy corners! She wished there was more glitter here, but otherwise felt much more calm. She watched the others - especially the dancing couples - enviously, but with a resigned face. At least she was here; that was a positive step!

Ringo had already been out on the dance floor when Shiemi arrived, so it wasn't until later that she spotted the younger girl. At which point she made a bee-line for a certain spot in the shadows.

"You!" she announced loudly, reaching out to grab at Shiemi's hand. "You look great, Shiemi!"
