Hopefully, everyone still had a little socialization in them yesterday after the mixer. There was still plenty of Tamsin's booze reserves to be shared, which would go nicely with all of the breakfast foods being served.
Each of the tables had a pot of coffee as well, just in case that was needed. There was no glitter in the coffee, promise.

Kanan was going to just raise an eyebrow in your direction and smirk.

"I'll keep an eye on it. Two, even. You can try coaxing it away from the other trees."

That seemed like a good start.

If melon pillows would be a disaster, melon shirts?

"Only on this ridiculous island would something like 'can I crossbreed a melon with a t-shirt' even be a question, you know."

He considered that to be a definite benefit of the island.

"An island of unlikely combinations. That sounds like Fandom, alright."

Atton was also carefully sipping on a mimosa, because that was actually drinkable, and keeping an eye on the locals.
There were certain brands of - mostly hidden - paranoia you just never shook off.

There was probably a joke there. Not a very funny one.

Kanan didn't make a move toward her. Didn't even turn his face in her direction. He just nodded, a small frown on his lips. He wasn't going to admit just how much it bothered him that she'd turned to the Dark Side. He really had no room to speak, in that regard. But she had been one of his first students here, and she'd had so much potential. Sith or not, while they were here, he could be pleasant.
Nevermind that all told, he had his own reality's Ahsoka to thank for Hera being involved in the rebellion that had led to him meeting her in the first place.
Diverging timelines were complicated, that way.

"Jarrus," she said neutrally. She was hardly looking to start a fight, but it wouldn't be hard to end one with someone who barely strayed from Soresu...who wasn't Obi-Wan at least.

His lips did twitch into something approaching a smile, then. Small and wry, but not entirely unpleasant. He wasn't looking to start a fight, either.
"I'd wondered if you'd come to this thing," he admitted. "Making old connections? Or was the island simply being contrary again?"

"Avoiding this place would have raised suspicions as to why." After all she'd already done to prevent her master's attention falling upon this place, an awkward weekend was very little.

Yay?
"Ah," he replied, giving a small nod and finally turning his face her way. "Then you would have preferred to avoid this place, otherwise?"
He couldn't exactly blame her, he supposed. Not with the half-dozen Jedi who tended to reside on the island at any given point in time. But it did make him appreciate her presence here all the more. He was pretty sure he could guess at whose attention she was trying to divert from this place.
