The Park, Monday Afternoon

After class, Lucille had gone for a long walk, roaming the streets of the town for a while before ending up in the park. She stopped at the pond, where the ducks and the flamingos were enjoying the spring weather, the latter eyeing her suspiciously while some for the former approached her cautiously, expecting to be fed

Cassandra had done her practice in the salle this morning. She had put her armor aside, and she was now out for a jog, to further push her muscles. It would not do for her to become lax, after all, and--

"Lucille!"

She came to a quick stop before she bumped into the girl.

Lucille had been too absorbed by her thoughts to notice Cassandra, and almost jumped. After regaining her composure somewhat, she said:

"Cassandra! What a lovely surprise. Are you... running?"

"I... usually take a run at this hour," Cassandra said slowly. "I am sorry. Did I startle you?"

"Don't worry about it," Lucille replied. "I was just... watching the ducks. How are you doing?"
