Someone in the office had realised just how few of these Cara had attended, so she was stuck here tonight.

At least there were very few flowers in evidence, she could deal with the glitter so long as that was the case.

While Tony was not strictly speaking a chaperone, he was choosing to go stand by them in order to keep this from just getting awkward.
