Jessica was heading to the Kwik Stop for some gum. She figured she would give the drinking guy a chance to move along, but if he was still there when she got out a couple minutes later....

Oh look. "Hey, buddy. You know, there may be more pleasant places to have a drink than right outside a place."

Bellamy had hoped he wouldn't be bothered. He just wanted to stand and do some internal self loathing in peace.

"I'm just standing here," he said patiently. "Prefer I go to the park or something?"

"That might be slightly more appropriate. The ducks might enjoy the show," Jessica reasoned as she pulled out a stick of gum. She wasn't on duty and he wasn't doing anything illegal (she assumed there was no way there was a public intoxication ordinance), so she was being as casual as possible. "But I'd suggest drinking at home or in one of our fine bars."

"And why's that?" he asked, making no move to leave. He took another drink. "This your wall or something? Am I in your space?"

"Oh, you've got to be kidding me." Wash was there to buy cat litter for reasons that were none of your damn business. And not deal with York's surly employee who was now apparently a hobo.

Congrats on being a hobo, Bellamy.

Bellamy saw him, rolled his eyes and turned away from Wash, leaning one shoulder against the building comfortably enough.

See, Wash didn't have to deal with him anymore.

"Are you drinking in public?" Maybe if he put emphasis on things, it would work.

"Yes," Bellamy told him, keeping his back turned. "No rule against that. Already checked."
