Irene was finally feeling all right about leaving her apartment (and it helped that the incessant, pointed need for that old phone of hers had faded a little more with each heartbeat since Friday night), and of course, when one finally leaves one's apartment after a time of seclusion, where should one appear first but the most popular bar in town

After getting back from vacation, Kitty had gone in just to check in on things and found a party. And a bear, who promptly hugged her, and you know what, Kitty hugged him back more or less without question, don't judge.

"I can't leave you people alone," she said.

"I had nothing to do with this," Irene assured her, arms pinned to her side as she just let the stupid bear hug her.

Resistance seemed fairly pointless.

"The decorations and such or the bears."
