It couldn't be helped that he was looking at people differently now, eyes stopping on certain people before he kicked himself and moved on. But, then the whole process would start again and again and yeah.

Flick hadn't exactly been paying attention to anything but himself so getting yanked and then kissed surprised him. He had to actually focus to make sure he wasn't getting kissed by someone who'd get him in trouble.
But, he recognized her lips and smell and feeling almost immediately and relaxed, kissing her back as he did.

And even when she pulled back, her breath was still on his lips so she really hadn't moved much. "Thank you for the flowers," she whispered, but it wasn't really the flowers she was thanking him for.
