Sushi Station - Thursday Afternoon

After getting a place to stay, Seifer had basically dropped his stuff and then headed out for food. He hadn't eaten much more than vending machine crap since leaving LA, and was pretty damn hungry at this point. After seeing what was still in town, Seifer settled for sushi, because he knew it would be the good stuff

Squall had headed to his apartment for lunch, and then on his way back to the Android's Dungeon, he thought he saw a familiar face.

(Is that... ?)

After following Seifer into the sushi place, he loomed... not imposingly. Not menacingly. What was the word? Oh, yes, awkwardly. He loomed awkwardly over Seifer.

"Is that you?"

"Is that the guy who wears far too many belts?"

Seifer didn't even look up as he grabbed another piece of rainbow roll with chopsticks, dipped one edge in a bowl of wasabi and soy sauce and then popped it in his mouth.

"I like the way it looks," Squall replied with a scowl. He sat down next to Seiver and watched the plates go by. "It's good to see you. How have you been?"

He was surprised to hear himself say it, but it was good to see Seifer again.

"Good until recently," he said, looking over. He frowned for a moment and then grabbed a plate with spider maki on it and set it in front of Squall.

"Eat. I hate eating alone. You and Rinoa both here?"
