"This is my corner--Zayne!" Oh, how the mighty had fallen. Guy had never had the fancy Skywalker money. Or even the less fancy Wayne money.

Or the even less fancy Honey Boo Boo money.

So, there was that. As he hunted for his long lost identical twin brother, he needed to make some sort of money, okay?

"Guy! No!" Zayne cried, holding his hands up to cover his face and his shame. "Don't look! I don't want you to see me like this."

"But how?" You were so successful! A rising star in the business world!

"Things change, Guy. People... People change," Zayne said. "You make deals with the wrong people and everything can just disappear before you know it."

And there was Jake Doyle, private-detective-turned-Sheriff of this no-good town. Or, at least, this reasonably okay town with a disturbingly high number of comas and also a whorehouse district. Barrel-rolling out from behind a trashcan, he sprung up and pointed a finger accusingly at Zayne.

"You."

"I'm just standing here, Sheriff," Zayne said once he recovered from the surprise. "There's no law against standing. If there was, you'd be guilty, too."

"I make the laws here," Jake told him darkly. "And I decide who's breaking them, too. Which you are in fact doing right now."

"What's the charge, Doyle?" Zayne asked. "I know my rights. I ask, you gotta tell me."

Why was Mike here again? Wasn't he trying to leave this world behind him? Wasn't he working towards redemption?

But this was easy money, and he was weak, so here he found himself yet again. And sleeveless, because the costume department didn't care that it was cold out here.

"Oh, great. It's you. Thanks for taking work away from the rest of us," Zayne sighed.

It was not his fault he was so tragically well suited for this job!

"We all gotta make a living," Mike said, with deep resignation which was going to win him an award. Or get him called out for overacting. "I'm not looking for trouble."

"Well, unless you can find a different line of work, you're gonna find some trouble," Zayne said. "We had a good thing going here before you showed up."

Oh, how far the great Sam Winchester had fallen. Once, he'd been on top of the world, even with the Skywalkers trying to keep his family down. Now, he was here, living on the streets and taking comfort one job at a time. He couldn't believe what he'd ended up doing... or how much he'd grown to like it. At least out here, he wasn't alone all the time.

"How's business tonight, Sam?" Zayne asked. In the past, they were on opposite sides. One, friends with the Skywalkers. The other, a sworn enemy. But there weren't any sides in the whorehouse district.

Well, there totally were. Poetic language.

"A little slow. It's probably just going to get worse as it gets colder." They'd have to start doing holiday episodes with snow soon enough. "How are you holding up?"

"Just a couple more weeks and I'll be able to afford my next semester of business school. And then I'll be on my way up again!" Zayne declared. "Just visualize your goal and this all becomes easier."
