There were clothes, and there was a Jeremy. Just going around, surveying his kingdom. Or Callie's kingdom, but Callie wasn't here right now, so, while the Darling name might not have been plastered all over the building, he was still in charge here. "Hi," Juliet said when she came into the shop and finally found Jeremy. She shifted her weight from one foot to the other before deigning to crouch and start picking up shoes. (Jeremy was quite possibly the only person she'd help in this way without being asked.)

"Did Mom tell you she was coming tomorrow?" she asked, sounding as if she wasn't quite sure how she felt about that.

Jeremy appreciated the help, especially since he kept getting distracted by how he wasn't entirely sure whether they were all shoes. Some... creatures had to have some pretty freaky feet.

"Yeah," he said, with a shrug. Sounding pretty neutral about it. "On the phone."

"Same thing," Juliet said, but absently. She'd hit one of the creature shoes, and was trying to figure out why anyone would need earholes on their ankles. "I don't really care, do you? All my teachers this semester are pretty normal."

No pink pony problems this time around.

Jeremy shrugged again, reaching to put away a pair of shoes meant for someone who had at least six toes on each foot. "Mine too," he said. "I mean, she might think the whole... not doing anything class is weird, but my teachers are normal."

Normal cynical young women, but still.

"Can't let her meet my boss, though."
