There was the tell-tale scent of cinnamon in the air that usually heralded Lady Ghanima's arrival via her use of the Weirding Way, and not two moments later her boot-treads could be the floor below, before she made her way up the stairs carrying large, covered baskets of unleavened bread, various types of meat jerky, and fresh fruit.

"I'm making the rounds," she called softly. "And I have protein."

"Did you bring bananas?" Ender asked, appearing in the doorway of his room with a smile on his face.

"Bananas were the easiest to get, believe it or not," Ghanima laughed. "I also have apples, kiwi, avocados, and a lot of oranges." She fished one out of her basket and held it up. "Does anyone have scurvy yet?"
