Mary was not having a good day. Gunther had gone missing again. He had never really picked a side, but he knew that she was hiding Resistance members in the hotel and never said a word about it. Isabel was at the front desk, going through paperwork and frowning occasionally when she'd catch herself singing softly.

"Are all of last night's receipts in order?" asked Mary loudly, then in a whisper, she added, "Something's not right. I can't find Gunther anywhere. He knows too much about where things are hidden."

"Nowhere to run to, baby. Nowhere to hide. Got nowhere to run to, baby. Nowhere to hide", Isabel sang softly before snapping her mouth shut. "Dammit, I'm really starting to hate this island."

"Receipts are all in order so we're good there. As for the other?" She shrugged helplessly.

Mary chuckled. At least some things about life in Fandom did not change.

"Good. I don't want to get stuck going over the books all night. Maybe I'll get a chance to go out for a walk around town," she said. It wouldn't be much of a casual walk, more like a frantic search.

"I'll keep the desk covered," she promised, mentally running through a list of places where Gunther might be. "So you don't have to worry about that."
