Jake was in a pretty good mood as he came in to work today. The kids' graduation had come and gone- well, not without incident, but with... fairly self-contained incident. Let's put it that way. Handwavily seeing people visit with their friends and family had made him think maybe he ought to go back to St. John's for a couple days, just to catch up

Quinn got a diet coke -- though she did get a cherry in it, wild woman she was -- and settled in in the lounge.

Even if it ended up being a quiet birthday, just being out was nice.
