Arrive/Mingle! apocalipped February 5 2012, 20:26:16 UTC
Tea. Today, there is tea.

And there may or may not be muffins. Jono didn't provide any, no, but he couldn't help but notice that by the end of Thursdays rehearsal, some had just... appeared!

You were so goddamn lucky that Guy had a sense of duty about this. Because it was Superbowl Sunday, guys. Superbowl.

So you'd all have to deal with him having a radio to follow it at least.

"And here, I was wondering if I was going to be dateless for the wedding today," Cindy said coming up behind him with a mug of tea. "Today's a day for beer and chips, if I remember aright."

"I gotta support the Patriots here." No, they weren't his team, but it was close enough.

Wedding scene! Car scene! Time Warp! A few criminologist interludes, and, kicking all of it off, Science Fiction Double Feature, which can be a solo or a duet, depending on whether or not our Fuchsia feels comfortable and asks Rag-Tag for assistance.

Jono is easy that way.

If you don't know them, there's measuring tape. If you do know them, fork them over.

Yes, you.

"Who is supposed to be doin' this measuring?" Guy asked, arms crossed over his chest.

"You can try yourself," Jono noted, slightly amused as he crammed his hands into his pockets. "Or I suppose we could get our stage manager to do it."

Because that was totally what stage managers were for. It certainly wasn't the musical director's job, here.

That poor, poor stage manager. "I can manage it."

Jonothon had coffee.

Jonothon's coffee had rum in it.

That was just the way that Jono rolled, today.

Trick wasn't one to make trouble, but there was something he had to double-check.

"Does my role require lingerie?" he asked. "I know we talked about the dancing, but I hadn't thought to ask about underthings. Which is my own fault, since I'm at least familiar with the show."

At least he didn't stumble over the question. He'd been married for years, talking about feminine undergarments didn't faze him. Wearing them might, but not asking about them.

"I believe mine might also need a special order."

Jono blinked. And then blinked again. And then bit the inside of his cheek to keep from laughing.

"Actually, what you're wearing now should be just about perfect," he shared. "The Criminologist gets up on a table to jump to the left all of once, but that aside, the man's a professional. You don't even need to worry about a wardrobe change through the show, mate."

Thank goodness, right?

Who is welcome to come in and work on sets, or to help with measurements, or whatever people feel like doing.

Freddie was sitting in the back with his PearPhone, browsing the comments on iCarly and frowning.

"The robot was supposed to be funny!" he grumbled.

Billy had his script at the ready, and was going through his lists of things that needed to be worked on. He was tempted to make a list of his lists, but that verged on being a little too OCD for his liking.

Kenzi was working on the sets again, and wandering back and forth muttering about motorcycles and wires and roast beef.
