The date, a redhead, had made sure that she had everything in place before she headed out to meet her blind date. She was a little nervous, but also excited

"Cassidy," Bruce said, confidently. Because why else would a person he didn't recognize walk in and say his name?

He stood up and went for a handshake that he could subtly turn into a welcoming hug. "I hope you're ready to spend a lot of time together today."

She smiled and nodded after she was done hugging him.

"I'm looking forward to it," she responded. "What have you got planned?"

"I figured we'd start here in the only best coffee shop around, maybe end the day with some drinks and other than that, see where the day took us," Bruce said.

He pulled a chair out for her at the table to show that he was a true gentleman and not, say, somebody who spent his nights training to punch bad people in the face very hard. "So, where are you from?"
