Ronan grinned. "I do my best," he said. "This was last minute purchase, actually." He paused. "I don't actually know where the tie came from. It was buried at the bottom of my pocketspace; I found it by accident and have no recollection of ever putting it, or any tie, in there."

"Jack told me a story about living fur coats once. So I guess it's a fairly universal idea. Although I think I'll stick with nice, inert fleece for keeping warm."

Ronan shook his head. "It's not so much that," he said. "I've been... I dunno. I haven't been as social as I'd like; I really need to be getting out more. Been spending too much time at home, consulting with some of my friends." Shrugging, he added, "You'd think they'd be able to handle a case of Rirhait shingles on their own, but apparently not."

"You do need to get out more then. Either here or come visit me. We can go dancing one night. I've got an in at one of the really hot clubs in town right now."
