Parents' Weekend Brunch, Sunday Morning to Afternoon, The Park

As was traditional, the start of the end of Parents' Weekend featured plenty of food, benches, chairs, and coffee in the park. After all, the Student Council couldn't let the parents be weirded out one last time without a feast

Peter turned up while in a totally stellar mood - really - wearing a t-shirt and jeans and a completely neutral expression on his face that was meant to obscure the rainclouds under the surface.

Why did he have to deal with his parents again?

He completely missed the guy standing by the food and drinks on the other side of the brunch area.

Peter stood by the food, carefully picking out his meal for the day. He was in a fairly decent mood, having spent last night with Valentine and Ender. It was almost... nice, to have a sense of family with his siblings again, even if the two of them still so obviously distrusted him.

He was smiling a little bit to himself as he picked out some sandwiches.

He had noticed the guy on the other side of the brunch, but he wasn't interested in misbehaving this weekend. It would be of absolutely no benefit to him, and perhaps even less so for tiny-him, much as he'd like to save himself some heartache and embarrassment.

Duncan did make a stop by the food, first. He'd have to head back to the stables and leave again soon enough, but it wouldn't do to do so on an empty stomach. He had too far to travel.

Sam hadn't left yet, but he was debating taking his leave. Jake's silence was an answer on itself and he doubted anyone else still wanted him around. Still, a quick stop at the brunch to fuel up before he made the journey back seemed like a good idea.

Natalie was here, seated at a table all on her own with a plate of food that she was absently snacking from while she read a book, just occasionally glancing up at people passing by.

What? She didn't care for mingling.

Kyle had some food and a can of soda - and his Green Lantern costume and green crab-mask, but that was a given - and he was chilling at the table. Secretly, he wasn't completely looking forward to leaving, but you'd have to beat that out of him.

The brunch seemed to be going off without a hitch, as had all of the weekend events so far. (Not counting the fact Sue Sylvester and Santana both apparently had twins in other worlds, and that was going to make Quinn's head hurt if she overthought it.) Plate full of fruit and huge mug of coffee in front of her, Quinn was going to sit at a table and savor her triumph.
