"I didn't do it!" Kenzi protested to Tino. Who was still pointedly looking at her. "I am being set up!"

Welcome to Caritas. Which has a lot of soda, fruit slices, garnishes, and ice. But no booze.

Bo gave the not-exactly-bustling place the once-over as she slid onto a barstool. "You promised me evidence of you actually working. I see no such thing!"

Given the lack of clientele, Bo didn't figure the chance of her dragging home somebody she shouldn't was too high. Zombies aside - she had lines. "Beerm I guess? Whatever's on tap."

"Um." Kenzi paused, and said with determination, "Might I recommend our fine, fine seltzer water with lime? Our Coke with lemon? Our 7-Up with a garnish of cherry?"

"Eeeeeeew!" This distracted Kenzi from her woes for at least ten seconds. "I didn't even-- could that even work? 'Cause they're dead, not just 'cause they're gross?"

"Your deal with your junk is weird," Kenzi told her, like she didn't know that, then smiled nervously as she filled up a glass with ice. And then Coke. And a cherry. Like a rum and coke! And here, have a little plastic pirate sword through a lime! And an umbrella! And maybe one of those orange peels, too!

"My junk is perfectly normal junk, thank you." What was she even saying? Bo shook her head, then stared at the glass. "Kenzi, as one bartender to another, I may need to give you some tips. We'll start simple with how Coke isn't beer, and then work our way up."

Kenzi dropped her head onto the bar in despair. "I didn't do it! I swear I didn't do it! Tino's just a big loser and how would I get it all out of here without a pedi-cab or some bruisers to help me!"

..it might help if she explained what she didn't do, but. And yet.

"You'd figure out a way," Bo responded automatically, because like Kenzi wouldn't? "What didn't you do that you'd figure out a way to do if you actually did it?"

That remark about the pedi-cab might indicate she gave this some thought, yes.

"All of the rum is gone." A beat. "So's the vodka. So's the gin. So's the beer and the wine and the tequila and the strange and cute liqueurs and the kahlua and the amaretto and the stuff that's 100 proof and should be sold only to vampires and I swear, if I'd done this, I wouldn't do it on the day I had to tend bar!"

Well, that much was probably true.

Bo raised an eyebrow. Well, actually, Bo raised both eyebrows. Did that count as multi-tasking? "Just poof? Gone? Did it disappear in front of you, or was it just not here when you got in?" Some looking pointedly at Tino might be in order here, except... he seemed to be looking pointedly at Kenzi.

"It wasn't here when I got here." Yeah, Kenzi was glaring along with Bo. "Other people had a way better chance to take it than I did. Or to at least be stupidheads and leave doors and windows open for other people to rob us."

The gesture Tino directed them-wards was so not appropriate to be throwing at a high schooler. Which Bo would point out if everyone on the island including herself wouldn't fall over laughing at the idea that Kenzi hadn't both seen and used it while she was still in diapers.

"Yeah, yeah, we get it, you didn't do it either," Bo called down the bar, rolling her eyes. "Gremlins, maybe?"
