The blasted heath was really enjoying itself now. Having turned everything in the campgrounds to ashes, it now spread to cover the park in full, twisting its creatures into grotesque shapes. Even sand on the beach had greyed, and tiny crabs were both growing bigger and more fearsome

Momoko hadn't managed to make it into the dorms last night, and if she could see herself, she'd probably be glad of that. Sometimes. When she wasn't sniffing the air and wondering why the MEAT seemed so easy today. She wasn't so much hungry now as bored, and she kicked at the carcass at her feet, irritated.

Scully had a squirrel cornered. A regular squirrel, not a Pirate Radio squirrel. Good thing, or those guys would never let her live down what was about to happen next.

What actually happened was a very bored Momoko rushed through, swooping the squirrel up and away. Now she stood a few feet away, dangling the squirrel by the tail, swinging it in and out of Scully's reach, smiling.

"Hey!" Scully snarled after that much English. "MINE!"

And a run and a pass at the squirrel, aiming to grab its tiny ears.

"Heh" Momoko tossed it in the air, then jumped after it and over Scully, landing on her feet on the other side of her, the squirrel still in her possession. "Yours?" she growled, amused finally.

Snarllllll. That would be Scully, going for the tackle, and slashing her claws at Momoko's face. "Mine mine mine mine!"

Momoko laughed. It was not a pretty sound. Ahh. This was almost not-boring! She let Scully's tackle connect, keeping her arm extended and the MEAT away from the fun little one. "Poor hunter. Lost your game," she teased, elongated tongue flickering out past her grinning teeth to lick at the ooze Scully's claws were producing.

And also to send a quick lick to Scully's face. "Hmmmm. Tasty one. Don't lose this game."

Though she be little, she be fierce. Her teeth moved to sink into Momoko-thing's shoulder without further comment.

"RAAAAAAAAAAAA!" Momoko Did Not Like That! She released the squirrel, bringing that arm up to try to bash at Scully's head, the other claw attempting to stab her nails into Scully's side.

The squirrel scampered away (FREEEEE!) and Scully howled, then bonked Momoko with her new skull. THAT would show her!

Uhm. Not really. Mostly because of Momoko's new skull.

There was a bit of a thud-y pain, though, and even bored!monster!Momoko didn't like pain. She pushed Scully off of her and rolled to her feet, getting momentum for her own tackle, now.

OW OW OW "OW!"

Scullly was slashing out as Momoko advanced, with taloned feet as well as hands, and hissing with her own long tongue. "IT GOT AWAY!"

Yes, she'd just noticed that.

Momoko used her own claws to slash back at Scully, but shifted her weight to avoid actually landing on her. "Not my prey." And wasn't that a wee bit ominous?

She did a somersault landing, then immediately twisted to face Scully again, grinning.

There was going to be some EPIC apologizing later.

Scully never was afraid when she was human; why would she be afraid now?

"You. Are. DEAD."

And a spitting, raging, frothing, chomping mass of red-headed fury went barreling at Momoko, wanting to take her apart, forget eating her.

While she still wanted to play, Momoko was getting hungry again. She gave a soft growl and waited until Scully was a bit closer, then twisted to lash out with her tail, following through with her own claws extended as she spun back around.

Scully tripped and somersaulted, howling as the claws dug in. Then lashed out with her own tail at knee-height, snarling.
