Your bartender was very much herself today, thank you -- though somewhat confused by the fact that the door was unmanned, Tiny was nowhere to be seen, and there was a guy who looked like Russell Brand playing the ukelele in the DJ booth.

If only Bo had been on the island long enough to recognize One Of Those Nights before it was happening around

"Well, if you insist upon renaming me for today, I won't put up a fuss," Eric said, holding out a small box full of sand. "It's very inconvenient not having a day-man on the island," he complained. "I can't mail anything."

"Don't worry about it," she assured him. And if it was weird to kiss a guy on the cheek for a box of sand, well too bad. That little thing had done a lot to improve her week. "Did you get my dirt?"

"I can't imagine you'd want to go around broadcasting where you have to sleep half the day," she nodded. Especially since she'd heard from Jessica what being awake during the day was like. "But it does make me want to mail more stuff here just to get you a post office visit."

"Agent Mannheim and I are going to be very good friends," Eric decided, smiling, "and I'll have quite a collection of dirt from different planets."

"Very," Eric agreed. "How did your mission with the warlord turn out?"

"Crime ring. I'm still waiting on my next warlord," she corrected. "We managed to get to a few people higher up in the chain. I'm sure at least one of them is going to be let go again, but we know enough about his habits now that it should be easier to pick up on the trail. I swear it's usually more exciting."

Though in this case, it was probably good it wasn't, since Zekk had ended up doing a lot of his own while Jaina had been wrapped up in the Games. She was going to owe him for that.
