Jaina wasn't letting any of yesterday's down feeling get to her today, because she repressed like a champ. Besides, her last shift here wasn't till next week, and so any melancholy could at the very least be postponed

Jaina raised her eyebrows. She'd never really thought of destroying anything as therapy, more like something that maybe felt good when you accidentally smashed something in the course of doing something else. Totally different. "Do you smash a lot of glasses?"
"No." Couldn't actually say she did. "Your bar's safe," she promised, lifting her drink with a smirk. "Don't worry." Her destructive tendencies were mostly kept to herself.
Besides, she rather liked it here, and getting tossed out wasn't in her plans for the evening.
"You beat the stuffing out of a lot of punching bags?"
"At least once a day, barring invasions or kids running around or whatever," she nodded. "Though I can also call it training and that makes it more socially acceptable."
After last week, Katniss figured she might owe an apology to the bartender who'd had to suffer her overly-cheerful six year-old self, and despite her desire to just hide away and pretend it had never happened, she found herself heading into the bar to take a seat.
And sure enough, the woman behind the bar was the one she'd remembered, so that was...fortunate? "What's something good that's non-alcoholic?" she asked curiously, putting aside the urge to order milk or water or juice. If she was going to a bar, she might as well treat herself -- though there was no need to go too far.
This girl's presence felt familiar, though Jaina didn't recognize her right away. "We've got sodas and iced tea, or I can make a Shirley Temple or daiquiri without alcohol," she offered.
"Got an objection to strawberry?" she asked, going for what seemed to be the most popular kind. And maybe she was studying her a little, wondering if she knew her.

"Greeks do it and no one seems to give a shit," Effy pointed out. "Why not the rest of us?"

"Can think of stress relief I'd take over that." And often did. "Other than glass smashing."

"Always been a bit shit at 'socially acceptable'." Besides, socially accepted sounded a little dry.
