Karla & Warren's Almost-Summer (and Super-Early Birthday) Celebration, The Preserve, All Day Sunday

Due to any number of factors, Karla and Warren had been planning to celebrate their shared birthday a little early this year. They didn't want to interfere with people's graduation or vacation plans, as a last hurrah before finals, making sure their off-island friends would be able to attend mun failure at remembering her own character's birthday,

Momoko saw her friend from yesterday and skipped her way over to him, arms full of cookies. "HI!" She held one of the larger cookies out to him. "Look what I got! It's choco'chip! You can have it a'cause you shared th' muffin!"

"Mine?" Jan asked tentatively, as he reached for the cookie. It was huge, and he was very full, but he loved the way it smelled. "Thank you."

He wanted to tell the girl how much fun he was having, but he wasn't sure how to say that, so he settled for waving a hand vaguely around the carnival. "Good!"

"Yours!" Momoko grinned wider when he took the cookie, and promptly plopped herself down on the ground to eat one of her others.

"'Good?'" She thought really hard for a second to guess what he was saying was good, but nodded. "Ah! It's a really good party! Yes!!!! Lotsa lotsa fun! I wanna ride th' ellepant! Did you see the ellepant?" Momoko bit into a cookie and pointed in the direction of the animal rides.

"What ellepant?" Jan wanted to know. He didn't know the word at all. "Is ... big?"

At least, there were big grey creatures over there. He'd almost thought they were fake, too, until he smelled them.

Momoko nodded. A lot! "Ellepants are big! Biiiiiiiig!" She dropped a cookie, she stretched her arms so high. "And they gots big long noses called trunks and they eats peanuts!"
