The dingbots have had the shop open all morning, after they had placed the signs all around town. Agatha had spent pretty much all of the night and this morning working on Walter's commission

Walter had pulled the picture of Victor down from his corkboard and had it in his pocket. He entered Miss Clay's shop with his bags from All and Sundries and set them down inside the door.
"Good afternoon, Miss Clay. I have the photograph. Is that the clock?" He bent down to look at the bot and grinned. "It is brilliant!"
Agatha smiled brightly at him. "Afternoon! Yes, this is him. Possibly her, but who can tell really?"
She picked up the bot, it was not heavy a few ounces really, and showed Walter the key that was chained to it's leg. "You need to wind him, he is all gears inside. Every evening is probably good. Just like this, 3 turns clockwise." She place the dingbot down. "If you have that picture, all we really need to do is show it to him, and press him down. It's his trigger to imprint on his new owner."
Taking the photo, Agatha glanced briefly at the boy in it. He was indeed green. Putting the image right before the bot's telescopic eye, she pressed gently down on his body
