After what was sure to be a busy day of catching up with family and guests, the local community center was lit up and now open for everyone to come enjoy the party. Sure, Jake had no visitors this time around. That didn't mean he wasn't going to take advantage of the free food and he was a little curious to see how did show up.

Claudia was here, brother in tow. She managed not to be leading him around by the wrist, but it was maybe a near thing.

Ender was present at the mixer - and keeping an eye on the drinks to make sure nobody sneaked anything alcoholic in there. He'd had a few snacks earlier that night, though, and so hungry he really wasn't.

With Leda and the others having a girls night out, Leander was left on his own to experience some of the wonders of Fandom. Which so far involved interested people watching. He hadn't seen this kind of mix of folks since leaving Bordertown.

It was refreshing.
