Despite all the craziness in town, Luke decided it was better to deal with the lawlessness than a hormone crazy woman back at the house.

He opened the door to the business and if anyone listen closely you might hear him grumbling about Jeff stealing all of Luke's pie profits.

"No, no." Parker wasn't about to tell him that Rory was possibly dating either the Messiah or the Anti-Christ. Not unless she had to. "Just someone with an... evil sense of humor." She made a face. "My outfit today? I lost a bet. I'd like to avoid everyone at school for a while."

Luke gives Parker a small grin and places the the burger and onions rings in front of her.

And a slice of pie.

"Pie's on the house. Stick around and avoid everyone all you want."

"You, Rory's Dad, are a cool, cool man," Parker said, completely heartfelt. Sighing, she dug into her burger, and worked out a graph for Benson, then savored the pie for as long as she could.

She left a tip that was half the tab when she finally summoned a rickshaw to take her back to school.
