Even though it was daytime, the "dolphins in space" theme had been carried over to the brunch. "Enjoying the time off," she admitted. "I don't get enough of it. I'm glad school's going well. It means Thanksgiving will be extra yummy."

"I think the worst was when he had to cut it," Isabel told her. "We were helping Parker with something and all that hair wasn't going to work. Fortunately I was able to grow it back with the alien-fu. But we didn't know that beforehand."

She'd been extremely touched that Wyatt was willing to make the sacrifice just to watch her back.

Isabel smiled. "He was worried about me," she replied. "This way he was able to be right there to watch my back."

"I saw Lindsey wandering around. How's he doing?"
