Dani was looking warily at the small boat. She was just glad that she wasn't going along for this trip.

"Are you sure you've got everything?" she asked. "Because starting tomorrow morning, I'm repainting your old room and tossing anything that doesn't belong there."

Millie made her way down to the beach to say goodbye. "Thank you for letting me know you were leaving." She handed him a package with a few books she thought he'd enjoy. "I'll miss seeing you at the store and around the isalnd."
